Good (?) Morning

The boys don't really care that I was out until about 11:30 last night. When Joey wants a bottle at 3:30 AM, he doesn't take into consideration that I'm super tired and really don't want to get up. When Cole wakes up at 5:30 and is hungry and screaming, it's like he's saying, "Mommy, get your lazy ass out of bed and feed me already". Well, at least this is my perspective.

Last night was book club night and, as always, it was ever so much fun. Our book club likes to drink. (smile) We discuss books, too, but mostly this is a social event. I really enjoy the people in the book club and I am always glad I get to go. Reading the selected book has now become more of a challenge, so my book club dates are few and far between. It used to be that getting home so late just meant that I needed more coffee and a early bed time the next night. This is not really an option any more.

Yesterday, Joey got his second tooth. We did the "happy tooth dance" and he was quite proud of himself. He looks really cute with these two little teeth now. His brother, however, is miserable with this teething thing. If I give him Tylenol, he seems better, but these teeth really need to pop through already. When Cole screams, I feel my ears vibrate and I think that I have permanent hearing loss from the intensity of the screech.

Today we are going to a twin play group up in Castle Rock. This sub-group is formed of mothers who had twin babies in 2009. I'm excited to go and meet some other new moms who are feeling/going through what I am. I find groups like these super supportive and hope to make some new friends. It's a bit of a hike since this is a Denver MOMS (Mothers of Multiples {something}) group. Still, it's worth the drive if something like this works out.

Off to shower, pay bills and eat before the munchkins wake up. :)
